Our new production and administration facility provides us with the best possible conditions to meet that objective. At the same time, this investment is a further milestone in the history of our company, which began as a pay winding in 1968. The general economic recession of the first ten years caused strong fluctuations in our own business. Business developed at breakneck speed following the conversion to pay knitting in 1980. Beginning in 1984, our company took another positive step in its development when we began the fabric sales of our own products. Later investments were made to secure future growth, and the family business was turned into a corporation. In 1994, our expansion reached the limits of the available facilities, while the business volume had risen to over 10 million marks. The company's future required a decision. In 1995, we moved into the corporate building in Balingen-Frommern. In 2010, a new warehouse was built on the factory premises, in order to optimise logistic processes and increase storage capacity. Despite our expansion, we want to remain a midsize company. We can then retain the advantages that have made us strong: efficient and performance- oriented teamwork, motivated employees with an awareness of quality, lean processing and efficient administration, but most of all competent and short, quick-reacting decision-making chains.
